01

The string method

Wrap a thin string, floss, or a strip of paper around the base of the finger you'd like to size.

Mark the point where it overlaps. Lay it flat, measure the length in millimetres — that's your circumference.

Match it against the tables above to find your size.

02

Measure an existing ring

Choose a ring that already fits comfortably on the intended finger.

Measure the inner diameter across the widest point in millimetres.

Match it against the tables above.

A few tips

  • · Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their widest.
  • · Avoid measuring when your hands are cold or immediately after exercise.
  • · When between two sizes, choose the larger size.
  • · For wider bands, including men's silver and white-gold rings, choosing half a size larger is recommended.
